About the event
This webinar is designed for parents and caregivers who want to better understand how their own emotional state affects a child’s sense of safety and well-being.
During the session, we will cover in detail:
Why exhaustion is a signal from the nervous system
How chronic stress affects both the adult and the child
What happens to a child when a mother is under constant tension
Why “pushing through at all costs” is not a regulation strategy
What containment is and how an adult can hold a child’s emotions
Special attention will be given to practical tools: how to recognize your own state, return to regulation, support your nervous system under stress, and apply simple daily techniques.
Webinar goal: To help participants understand the connection between an adult’s self-regulation and a child’s sense of safety, reduce parental burnout, and provide practical tools for everyday support. Each participant will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Speaker: Elena Davydova, psychologist, infant mental health specialist. M.A., ASW # 126670. Supervised by Israel “Rulik” Perla, Ph.D., LMFT # 43965. Our educational events are free.
